The Fourth China-CEEC (17+1) Conference on Innovation Cooperation, hosted by the Republic of Serbia, will be held on October 8-9, 2019, in Hall 4 of the Belgrade Fair.

 The Conference will be opened by the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Mrs. Ana Brnabic, the Minister of Science and Technology of the PR of China, Mr. Wang Zhigang, and the Minister in charge for Innovation and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Nenad Popovic.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8

 MINSITERIAL CONFERENCE

Welcoming speeches of the officials of the PR of China and the Republic of Serbia

10:10– Visiting the exhibitors stands by the official delegations

 10:45– China – CEEC ministerial meeting

Dear colleagues,

The Fourth China-CEEC (17+1) Conference on Innovation Cooperation, hosted by the Republic of Serbia, will be held on October 8-9, 2019, in Hall 4 of the Belgrade Fair.

The conference will be officially opened on Tuesday, October 8 at 9.30 AM with the participation of senior state officials of the Republic of Serbia and the People’s Republic of China.

Acreditation forms, agenda and additional information on the Conference are available at www.china-ceec-innovation.com.

Please note that it is necessary for media outlets to be accredited by Friday, October 4, 2019 at the latest. After that, the accreditation platform will be closed.

INFORMATION ON THE CONFERENCE:

The two-day Ministerial Conference on Innovation will bring together the most relevant representatives of innovation ecosystems from the PRC and 17 countries of Central and Eastern Europe and will be attended, for the first time in this format, by the Minister of Science and Technology of PRC, Mr. Wang Zhigang, alongside with participation of a large number of ministers and government officials from Central and Eastern Europe.

The Belgrade Declaration will be adopted at the Conference, setting a common vision for developing countries based on innovation through the China-CEEC 17 + 1 Mechanism.

At the same time, an economic Conference will be held, with participation of more than 200 companies, universities, institutions and investment funds from the PR China and CEEC countries which will present the latest developments in the fields of innovation, digitization, artificial intelligence, robotics, mobility, smart cities, agriculture, finance and other areas.

The participants of the conference will be able to see, for the first time in Serbia, the capacities of application of 5G technologies through its activation in the space of Hall 4 of the Belgrade Fair, as well as to test the simulator of high-speed train movement in different weather conditions.
